Just about everyone knows the words to the moving and patriotic “America the Beautiful,” which many think ought to be our national anthem, instead of the “Star Spangled Banner,” a difficult octave range to sing for many folks, including lyrics about warfare and bombs bursting in air.

Dr Herndon’s exquisite words define what’s going on daily above our very heads polluting air, land, water, plants, animals and humans with toxic substances sprayed from specially-retrofitted planes that are laying down what’s commonly referred to as “chemtrails.”
Those toxic ‘sky trails’ [5] are integral to weather geoengineering, global weather modification, solar radiation management [3] and probably responsible for, or contributing to, the four-year drought in California and the winters of 2014 and 2015 experiencing something never heard in meteorological terms: Polar Vortex! Chemtrails, along with weather modification—also synonymous with military warfare—apparently are tied in with HAARP [1] and electromagnetic warfare. Incidentally, the U.S. Army intends to own the weather by 2025 [2].
I’m pleased to extend kudos to Dr Herndon for turning his research work [4] into an impressive “fight song,” which ought to become a classic for our times. Let’s all start singing it; asking radio and TV stations to play it; and send it as a musical tribute to our congressional delegations and state legislators. Herndon is not a climate scientist nor has he done any peer-reviewed research on the topic. He is a CEO with several wild ideas, none of which is taken seriously. His views on chemtrails lack any scientific support. Real atmospheric scientists continue to affirm the empirical reality of contrails and the absence of any evidence of “chemtrails.”
Creating a cult of chemtrail victims in the absence of any science makes sense: songs, poetry, uniforms, perhaps a march on Washington? This is the odd case where the amateurs seek to characterize the real scientists as frauds, paid shills, sell outs. I will no doubt be called a paid shill for even mentioning the lack of scientific research for the claim of chemtrails. I urge you to print out a flight map of your area of ordinary commercial flights and then watch as the contrails are formed as planes fulfill these flight plans. I also urge you to note that no trails can be seen except in the stratosphere where freezing temperatures cause the trails to form. Lower levels necessary to target populations never show such trails, only those at 30-40K ft. where it takes months and thousands of miles to radically dilute the spray, most eventually falling into the ocean.
If actual climate scientists and your own observations don’t work to persuade you., perhaps you are not open to scientific evidence, preferring to believe that the world’s 10,000 atmospheric scientists in 150 nations are all fakes, the claim promoted by the chemtrails lobby, whose goal is to distract your attention from the lethal ground level pollution to the skies above.

IT WAS NEVER LIKE IT IS TODAY. I showed the trails to my Dad before he passed this spring and after at first poo-pooing the idea as a “patriotic american” he remained on the deck for fifteen minutes and agreed that these were NOT contrails. He has a business degree but spent a lot of time in the skies. He is not a scientist but a reasonable observer. goodbye
rcade, you, have never taken even one basic class in atmospheric science are telling me that you know more than the world’s experts who study this topic? You can google many images of contrails during WWII……..since then, there are a thousand times more flights thus a thousand times more contrails.
A pilot is not an atmospheric scientist. I will stick with the science, you can stick to your dad’s ancient memories and total lack of expertise in research on the atmosphere.

I am a nobody. Although I did graduate with honors from one of the top ivy league schools. The likelihood that someone (who:the federal government? ) is paying me even you know is stated with zero evidence, a form of libel. If you cannot find evidence to support your cases(and you say there is”obviousevidence to the contrary,”then default would be ,make a baseless accusation, otherwise known as a “logical fallacy.”
The obvious evidence should be easy to present. And yet you do not but commit the intellectual and moral crime of libel. I would submit that listening to the atmospheric scientists is NOT narrowminded or propaganda but the only rational path for an intelligent person. You are entitled to your opinion, tho you cannot find one atmospheric scientist with peer-reviewed research who would do anything but laugh at your take down the world’s population of over ten thousand atmospheric scientists in over a hundred nations. Contrails dissipate, never lasting more than 30 seconds. Chemtrails don’t dissipate but spread out blocking the blue sky, or haven’t you noticed?
Atmospheric scientists inform us that contrails can be persistent and spread out to form cirrus clouds. These clouds then slowly dissipate while being carried up top thousands of miles over months before finally falling to earth, or in most cases, the ocean. Persistent contrails have been observed and photographed since WWII. Those cirrus clouds formed by contrails are not chemtrails but persistent contrails.
Here is a response to a question from the UK information office in 2014, as just an example of the prevalence of persistent contrails.

The Met Office holds this information.
The thing that has most changed in the last 30 years concerning the formation of persistent
contrails is not so much the atmosphere itself but the jet aircraft. Modern jet aircraft engines
will generate contrail formation at warmer temperatures than older engines, as a result of their
increased fuel efficiency. This is well-documented in an authoritative reference, details are
included below. Contrails are initiated when the environment temperature is colder than a
threshold temperature. The value of this threshold temperature is around -45C but is warmer
for more efficient engines and colder for older low-efficiency engines. The referenced report
gives much more detail. Such temperatures typically occur at altitudes above about 30,000ft
and so may be found at the cruising altitude of much jet aircraft traffic.” (sources given).
The Journal of Geophysical Research reports:
“Abstract: The expected increase of global air traffic raises concern over the impact of aviation on climate, for instance via the creation of persistent contrails that influence the radiative budget of the Earth. Here the radiative forcing due to persistent contrails due to potential new aircraft, which are added to the present fleet, is studied as a function of cruise altitudes.”
Etc etc. There is much research on this topic. I urge you to listen to what actual atmospheric scientists have learned and ignore everyone else, especially whatever source told you persistent contrails do not exist.

If you knew any science at all, you’d know these aren’t contrails. You don’t know what you’re talking about and you haven’t done any decent research on this topic. Quit trying to act like you know what you’re talking about, because you don’t.
The more highly educated a person is, the more elaborate their rationalizations. Why else is it the “EXPERTS” at NIST still claim Building 7 collapsed demolition style in its footprint, symmetrically, and at nearly free fall speed from some moderate office fires? Same reason physicians bought the cholesterol heart disease myth hook line and sinker – for decades and many or most still do coercing patients to take dangerous statins.
