Today, Scotland’s secretary of rural affairs, Richard Lochhead, announced a ban on growing genetically modified crops.
According to the BBC:
Richard Lochhead said the Scottish government was not prepared to “gamble” with the future of Scotland’s £14bn food and drink sector.
He is to request that Scotland be excluded from any European consents for the cultivation of GM crops.
But farming leaders said they were disappointed by the move.
Mr Lochhead said the request for opt-outs from GM crop consent would cover an EU approved variety of genetically modified maize and six other GM crops that are awaiting authorisation.
He said that Scotland was known around the world for its “beautiful natural environment” and banning the growing of genetically modified crops would protect and further enhance its “clean, green status”.
As expected, the usual cronies in the biotechnology industry are immediately accusing Scotland of being “anti-science”.
This ban follows several other small nations that have banned the use of the herbicide glyphosate following the World Health Organization’s determination that it is a probable cause of cancer.
Glyphosate is what most industrial GMO crops are designed to be soaked with during cultivation. It is a proven health hazard to humans and the environment.
How great it must be to have G.O.’s who actually watch out for their people/nation, even if it is much less than should be. As a worried and disillusioned citizen of the new oligarchy once known as a democratic republic, the U.S., All we have is a judiciary granting immunity to private business, citizenship to a bunch of legal papers and shoving Talmudic law, (homosexuality), down the throats of what must be the weakest (spiritually), Christian culture on earth. Ironic we have to look to other nations for political “heroes”, eh?

Well, the U.S. has served their owners well in that they have spread the Central Bank slave-masters into virtually the entire globe, (they should be SO proud, eh?), Russia seems to be successfully removing the parasites so that may be a viable destination. The only other place I might try would be Costa Rica simply because I’ve been told by friends who lived/worked there that the people were warm, cost of living was lower and one might be able to stay under the radar. Not being an expert, I can only give you my limited opinion on it.
You’re right about the U.S., the Central Bank seems to control most everything. I wouldn’t know just where to go either but under the radar or off the grid sounds pretty darn good to me right about now.

Three cheers for ’em! I felt the same way about “great” Britain way back when I was young and impressionable. Then I learned facts such as they, (Britain), are the “home” for the demonic Central Banks, They have attacked, slaughtered, enslaved then colonized 8 out of every 10 nations on this planet at one time or another. Running close to the U.S., (700 combat-ready military bases in +/- 130 nations on the planet),…. teaching them “freedom” Western style. Although many say Canada, Australia are “free” of the “red queen”, I have serious doubts. One huge example is the draconian “Holocaust” laws which imprison many for years, fine them into poverty for the “crime” of not accepting it w/o an objective forum, Like an unholy set of triplets they all adopted it to stifle free speech for those holding title to their G.O.’s. Britain/Canada/Australia… Once they disarmed one, all three were disarmed. They are feverishly working with the Neo-Judas class in D.C. to do the same here. Again, Lucifer’s system, frightening.

I love how Europe always accuses American’s of being stupid when Scotland is enacting policies that spit in the face of science.
A lot of GMOs have been vigorously tested and repeatedly proven safe.

We have all been eating GMOs for a while and nothing bad has happened. Additionally the only studies that have suggested that they are unsafe have been retracted for gross scientific misconduct.

Setting aside the pure science which proves GMOs are NOT safe, (for example, although their processing doesn’t violate any Noahide law, it’s been uniformly labeled non-kosher, do the stock holders know something they keep from us), a cognizant person need only look around to see the danger this oligarchy has been put in by the treasonous SCOTUS giving citizenship to int’l cartels, (insert corporations), who are having their pocket politicians pass more and more bills into law making them, (said corps), gods. Their mantra, (“there will be NO food grown we don’t own”), should warn us all of the dangers of allowing their GMO to be planted/grown/harvested. One screaming example should be what Stalin’s Bolsheviks did to the Ukraine in ’32. they used control of their FOOD to annihilate 7,000,000 Christians/Muslims while their media here kept telling the people it was a natural event. You (and others) continue to blindly – ignorantly allow those Luciferians to use patent law to gain control of all food and you will see another Holodomor on a massive scale;

What is less expensive, a standing army to train, cloth, arm and maintain or simply withholding seeds to any pesky regions/nations unwilling to “toe the line”? Bad for children, us and all living things notwithstanding, they own “our” government, therefor they own our police/military…. when was the only, (hell the first), time you have seen a corporation put environment/people ahead of profit/power? Continue your research into this demonic happening but be VERY careful of your sources. Are they objective? Who finances them? How deeply are your G.O.s noses shoved up their asses? Check to see where Prostiticians’ election money is coming from. There has GOT to be a reason why the “richest” nation on earth has an infrastructure rated D-minus in ’09, why our political system along with our country in general is circling the drain…. What you said. I recall free food being handed out in Europe in the 80’s owing to EEC surplus ‘food mountains.’ The Talmudists/eugenicists such as Ron Klain, Bill Gates in USA and Peter Mandhelson and other EU marxists won’t allow that to happen again.
There is no doubt in my mind that famine is being engineered to depopulate the planet and it will happen in America and spread…in addition to destroying the nutrition in plants, these GMO plants will sterilize the breeding stock we depend on for meat – this is why they rushed GMO alfalfa to the market…..it’s all doomed to poisoned and sterile, in addition to that I believe those virus’ that wiped out millions of chickens and pigs….I believe that was a beta test for how quickly they can wipe out the food supply so it all hits quickly and the situation is hopeless.
I also don’t believe it was accident that the EPA just destroyed that Colorado river…..many even think that the blowout in the gulf was among other things, an attempt to wipe out seafood.

Maybe you need to learn the history behind GMO seeds and the Rockefellers who created Monsanto. If there is any other companies producing these seeds then they are probably connected with Monsanto anyway. The Rockefellers where researching how to control the world’s food since the 1920s. They were experimenting with the crops in Africa since the 1950s. The Monsanto crops crossed with the local crops so that the local farmers couldn’t use their own seed because it wouldn’t germinate. Of course the liberals blamed the starvation in Africa on “climate change” and said it was draught that caused the local farmers crops to die. BTW, the Rockefellers helped to create the Federal Reserve and you know how good that has been for America!

Well done Scotland. At least one of my ancestral homes has the smarts. Watch the imports though…can you trust the ingredients inside. Australia has GE & Gmo crops. Monsanto & other GMO/GE seed merchants seem to have some Universities globally injected with the money drip for research and promising more drip $’s when they have a product that goes to market. Then can we trust many Uni’s to be honourable with the information they tell the public.(money talks) about the so called safety to living organisms on & inside the soil & rivers/ oceans. Australian Agriculture Departments,Univertsities & Governments are sucked in with this toxic tucker & research trick. By the way a lot of Health Food & big Pharma products are made in China & India etc & one suspects that they use cheap GMO/GE product/derivatives. Actually, it’s anyone with a knowledge of science that’s accusing them of being anti-science. The earth is round, evolution is real, vaccines are awesome, and GMOs are safe. Deal with it.

Not only is glyphosate a carcinogen – which these so called “scientists” have known for a very long time, glyphosates render the soil sterile, so GMOs provide reduced nutrition………..and even more catastrophic, they now know that all the livestock eating GMO feeds will within about 3 generations be rendered sterile, as well…. imagine that time, not too far off – no more beef or dairy cows being born, or pigs…..this is so serious that many of the horse breeders I know are now going non-GMO for their herds…a sterile prize stallion has no value….but GMOs are designed to lead to the famine and depopulation that the elites are engineering for us all………..
That’s interesting in view of happened in Scotland in the 1990s re GMO research..
Biologist Arpad Pusztai had more than 300 articles and 12 books to his credit and was the world’s top expert in his field of genetics in plants. In the early 1990s, Dr. Pusztai was awarded a $3 million grant by the UK government to design the system for safety-testing genetically modified organisms (GMOs). His team included more than 20 scientists working at three facilities, including the Rowett Institute in Aberdeen, Scotland, the top nutritional research lab in the UK, and his employer for the previous 35 years. The results of Pusztai’s work were supposed to become the required testing protocols for all of Europe.
But when he fed supposedly harmless GM potatoes to rats, within just 10 days, the animals developed potentially pre-cancerous cell growth, smaller brains, livers and testicles, partially atrophied livers, and damaged immune systems. Moreover, the cause was almost certainly side effects from the process of genetic engineering itself. In other words, the GM foods on the market, which are created from the same process, might have similar affects on humans.
Pusztai was fired. He was silenced with threats of a lawsuit, his team was dismantled, and the protocols never implemented. His institute, the biotech industry, and the UK government, together launched a smear campaign to destroy Pusztai’s reputation.

Do I need a degree to believe in the overwhelming scientific consensus? I don’t need a degree in geology to be confident that the earth is round, or a degree in biology to know that evolution is real.

Evolution was never “proven” but spontaneously morphed to “fact”. Please link some info outlining how it was moved from the “theory” column over to the “fact”. Further, if as you say it’s “fact” why are there still monkeys? why are there still ancient types of fish, (coelacanth etc.).
