Media Pushing for TSA Security on Trains

You can always expect the busybodies in our society to exploit a crisis, no matter how remote the future risks may be. After the train attack in France, and in light of a Papal visit next month, security is being beefed up in the Northeast, and apparently many are worried that an Amtrak line that runs from Washington DC to New York is vulnerable to a terrorist attack. And when I say “many” I mean the media and a sheepish passenger they interviewed. CBS Baltimore recently reported on the “threat” faced by commuters.

“There doesn’t seem to be many safeguards at all. You can run right up to the train and get on, without anyone stopping you or asking you any questions,” one passenger said as if it was a bad thing. The CBS report comes from an article that was cleverly titled ‘Trains Could Soon See “Airport-Level” Security’ despite providing no evidence that this was going to occur in the immediate future. In fact, cities like Philadelphia are planning to shut down train stations, rather than turning them into checkpoints. In reality, the CBS report reads like a promo of Homeland Security’s capabilities, and a plea for more funding.

After the recent movie theater shooting in Louisiana, the media also started calling for heightened security at movie theaters. If you ask me, it sounds like the mainstream media is thoroughly conditioning the population to accept a police state in America. Do you think they know something that we don’t?

  1. This makes me sick!!!

NO NO NO!!!! No more security. We have too much of it. Get rid of it!

    • Your opinion is not noted, the parasites in charge feel very threatened and until you are chipped and monitored 24/7 they will continue to feel so. Oh they will want a remote kill switch on that chip to limit the stress and risk their uniformed goons are subject to while getting rid of you.

    • NO! A BILLION more TSA agents! Put them in public restrooms, broom closets, the MEDIA’s closets and bathrooms at home.. Put them in TV studios, ON CAMERA; in fact, LET TSA GOONS present the national and local news! Put one beside every desk and cubicle.

Let the sons-of-bitches know what their crowing for “more security” actually MEANS.

  2. I have already seen TSA at several AMTRAK stations and they are now starting to infiltrate at many of the larger Greyhound bus stations. I do not consider that to be lawful and refuse to respond to their orders at any place other than congressionally authorized airports. Those are bad enough. They are already using their VIPR stops of private vehicles on interstates in Ohio and Tennessee. Anyone not a member of my state or local police that attempts to stop my car WILL be run down.
