GOP Hero Ben Carson Supports Mandatory Vaccination

For those “Conservatives” who were so giddy at the thought of a Presidential campaign from Ben Carson, the Republican superstar has once again disappointed the legions of admirers who latched on to his personality after … well, no one is sure what he actually did to deserve so much attention. Still, Carson has managed to disappoint.

This is because Carson, who is a neurosurgeon, recently sounded off on the recent media-induced vaccine controversy. Being a major part of the medical establishment and given the thorough indoctrination medical doctors are given in medical school by the pharmaceutical companies, it is not surprising that he would look favorably upon the process of vaccination. However, his comments on the process of mandatory vaccination and the right of refusal is what should produce the shock.

“Although I strongly believe in individual rights and the rights of parents to raise their children as they see fit, I also recognize that public health and public safety are extremely important in our society,” Carson said. “Certain communicable diseases have been largely eradicated by immunization policies in this country and we should not allow those diseases to return by foregoing safe immunization programs, for philosophical, religious, or other reasons when we have the means to eradicate them.”

Carson’s statements are pretty clear. In fact, Carson could have easily ended his statement with a trendy social media hashtag #IStandWithHillary. That, of course, would have alarmed his base to the fact that he and the rest of his Republican ilk are absolutely the same as the Democrats on virtually every single issue, differing only on the presentation.

Regardless, whatever one’s thoughts on vaccination, Carson’s statements are alarming in their lack of respect for personal freedom of choice.

This is not the first time the Republican hero, who really only exists to put a much-needed black face on the Republican party, has come down on the side of “big government” and repressive policies. When asked by Glenn Beck his stance on the Second Amendment and semi-automatic weapons, Carson responded that it “depends on where you live.” He went on to say that “I think if you live in the midst of a lot of people, and I’m afraid that that semi-automatic weapon is going to fall into the hands of a crazy person, I would rather you not have it.”

Of course, we shouldn’t hold our breath waiting for Carson’s “base” to be too concerned with personal choice, personal liberty, or liberty in general for that matter.

At the end of the day, however, it really doesn’t matter what Carson’s opinion on vaccination may be. Or anyone else’s opinion for that matter. Parents do have the right to opt out. End of story.

Any attempt to violate that right must be met with the same level of force being used to enforce it. It is time for those who support the right to choose to start speaking out now before the debate is lost to pharmaceutical companies, political drones, and over-entertained loudmouths.

  1. This dude just lost my vote…. He also thinks it depends on where you live as to what kind of weapon you should have?…. Ben is another Rhino….

    • To vote in a political election proves you to be criminally insane. To believe
you can create a right you do not have nor ever had to begin with is
insane. To delegate that fictional right to a group of sociopaths with
weapons so they may exercise said right upon everyone, is criminally
      insane.

  2. Ben’s been loosing his luster over the last year.

  3. Everyone was initially excited about a ‘fresh, new, conservative’ voice who wasn’t intimidated in the presence of Obama. But, as you peel back this onion, I’m afraid you will find the same old canards. Also, I’m very suspicious of his SDA religion which could be under the influence of the vatican.

    • I was initially impressed and excited about this guy. Then later realized that no one gets to speak at a function with the president WITHOUT being fully vetted first. The club knows how to maintain control. His speech was not a surprise, it was planned. Controlled Opposition at work. Can’t be trusted.

  4. See http://www.vaclib.org Pasteur capitulated on his death bed to his biggest critic, Antoine Bechamp when the light bulb finally went off in his head as he was breathing his last, when he said “Ah! Its NOT the GERM, its the TERRAIN!!!”
But the wrong person was remembered by history because there is so much money in Vaccines. See http://www.laleva.org/eng/2004/05/louis_pasteur_vs_antoine_bchamp_and_the_germ_theory_of_disease_causation_1.html
Ben Carson has been brainwashed into pushing vaccines like most mainstream MDs, but he has no chance to be President anyway because our votes mean nothing in this country, the Bilderberg Group inserts whoever they want as “President” and the “election” is nothing but a form of High Drama to create the APPEARANCE that we “have not been totally disenfranchised” when of course we HAVE BEEN, which is why we must all take target practice every day and gear up for WAR!! The Roots of the Liberty Tree must be quenched by the blood of TYRANTS! Beyond all of this, however, looms the threat of all of us being biologically chipped via the genetically engineered microorganism called Morgellons which all of us have been breathing into our bodies. This man made monster was created in a bioweapons lab via nanotechnology and all of us have been breathing it into our bodies, and we must take active steps to DETOX or it will weaken our immune systems, and kill the weakest among us, while stripping everyone of the last vestiges of freedom that we have. See my most recently alert here http://ymlp.com/z8nGti

  5. You may debate the merits of vaccination all you want. You can deem vaccines safe and effective. You can deem them God’s gift to humanity. You can vaccinate yourself and your children. In fact, you can take a million shots of mercury or aluminum or whatever else you want if you choose. I really couldn’t care less. But the day you tell me that I don’t have a choice to do otherwise, will be the day you have crossed a line.

  6. Ben, that’s the end of your run for president.

  7. The concept of “authority” depends upon the concepts of right and wrong (i.e., morality). To wit, having “authority” does not merely mean having the ability to forcibly control other people, something possessed by countless thugs, thieves and gangs who are not referred to as “authority”; it means having the right to control other people, which implies that those being controlled have a moral obligation to obey, not just to avoid punishment but also because such obedience (being “law-abiding”) is morally good and disobedience (”breaking the law”) is morally bad.

If there is such a thing as right and wrong at all, however you wish to define those terms, then the “laws” of “government” are always illegitimate and worthless. Every person is (by definition) morally obligated to do what he feels is right. If a “law” tells him to do otherwise, that “law” is inherently illegitimate, and should be disobeyed. And if a “law” happens to coincide with what is right, the “law” is simply irrelevant.

    • The problem is, that unless you believe in a divinely-revealed Right and Wrong, which is unalterable, and eternal, then any humanistic concept of these things can always be warped and mutated for reasons of present expediency.
Thus Yes and No becomes Maybe.
Then we see that “maybe” becomes “definitely”.
Definitely kill, and steal, and lie, and blaspheme, and fornicate.

Incidentally, I would infinitely rather have another neurosurgeon as my choice for President, ( not that I’m a US citizen ).
      Dr Russell Blaylock.
Superb presentation of the horrifying and truly scientific facts about this pharmageddon being inflicted on the people.
Any medical man who attempts to teach us that infectious disease was ended or severely curtailed by vaccination, as this man does, needs to take the History of Medicine 1.01 course.

  8. How sad. Ben appears to be just another run-of-the-mill pharma mouthpiece. Anyone who was fooled by this shiny new shill should be spanked.

  9. He may as well say “while i firmly believe in individual freedom i don’t really believe in individual freedom, and if you don’t think the way i do i will do all your thinking for your. But you are free.”

  10. You are wrong! He said that he is in favor of vaccinations but would NEVER endorse a government mandate that someone’s child be vaccinated against their wishes! Did you reach out to Dr. Carson on this issue before you put it into print?? He is the only candidate who answers 2-3 questions from people every night.
