Militia Says They Don’t Have Capability to Shoot Down Commercial Airliner

Activist Post

Wild speculation is flying as the mainstream media tries to piece together the official story of flight MH17 downed over eastern Ukraine this morning. Meanwhile, facts and on-the-ground reporting have been very limited. What has surfaced from local reporting, however, tells a startlingly different story than Western media.

Ukrainian militia tells onsite reporters that they did not possess the capability to shoot down a plane flying at 10,000 meters (33,000 ft or about 6 miles) and claim that Kiev must have shot the plane down. Also interesting, local firefighters said they have found no signs of dead bodies at the crash scene.

Another interesting nugget to surface, a Spanish air traffic controller live Tweeted his experience as the attack happened.  He says “The B777 plane flew escorted by Ukraine jet fighter until 2 minutes before disappearing from the radar,” and claimed that Kiev government is responsible. “Before They remove my phone or they break my head, shot down by Kiev.” Read all translated Tweets here.

It’s difficult to separate fact from fiction concerning this tragedy at this point, but hints are likely to emerge from those that will use this “crisis” as an opportunity.
