When Did Truth Become a Conspiracy Theory?

In the 1997 film, Conspiracy Theory, Jerry Fletcher says, “A good conspiracy theory is unprovable. I mean if you can prove it, it means they screwed up somewhere along the line.” In other words, sometimes conspiracy theories are true, such as Agenda 21.

“UN Agenda 21 is a worldwide action plan to implement ‘sustainable development.'” Rosa Koire, author of Behind the Green Mask and founder of Democrats Against Agenda 21, describes it well:

Agenda 21 is a global plan to inventory and control all land, all water, all minerals, all plants, all animals, all construction, all means of production, all energy, all education, all information, and all human beings in the world. Inventory and control.[i]

On February 13, 2013, the EPA issued a news release, “EPA Invites Communities to Apply for Smart Growth Assistance.” According to the first paragraph:

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) today is inviting applications from communities interested in exploring barriers to smart growth and testing innovative strategies that can create healthier, more sustainable places to live, work, and play.[ii]

How could anyone be against smart growth? EPA is offering funding to communities to create new strategies that will overcome the public’s resistance to Agenda 21…er Smart Growth to create environments that are more livable for everyone. It is for the good of all which leaves no space for anyone to disagree with its implementation.

A PBS Frontline documentary, “For the Good of All,” explores the damage done to a community under the guise of the National Park Service land acquisition in the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area in Ohio. The film was shot between 1979 and 1982; it documented what happens when federal bureaucracy destroys lives and steals property “for the good of all.”[iii] The Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is a perfect historical example of Agenda 21 in action.

Robert Anton Wilson said, “The best place to hide something is out in the open. Nobody ever thinks to look there.” Agenda 21 is hidden out in the open behind code words like “Sustainable Development”, “Smart Growth”, and “Renewable Energy.” Pay attention whenever you hear or see the code words livability, sustainable, wildlands, biodiversity treaties, buffer zones, visioning councils, public-private partnerships or International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) in the news.

Another code term that should be added to the list is future earth. As Douglas V. Gibbs wrote in “Agenda 21 and Thomas Jefferson,” a Canada Free Press article:

The sinister realities of the program has been oozing out, however, so the name is currently being changed to “Future Earth” because the truth getting out has given the term “Agenda 21” a negative connotation.[iv]

Man-made climate change skeptic Christopher Monckton said the “underlying goals and intentions of Agenda 21 makes the global warming, and climate change debate infinitely clearer.”[v]

The motivations, purposes and methodology of those who persist in alarmism on climate change, in the face of the mounting scientific evidence to the contrary and the 16 year ‘pause’ in rising global average surface temperatures are more transparent.

As the evidence increasingly contradicts the theory of greenhouse gas impacts on global temperatures the alarm is morphing to climate disruption, climate chaos, extreme weather and other scary stuff, since the temperatures are not keeping in step with rising CO2.[vi]

In “Agenda 21 and Thomas Jefferson,” Douglas V. Gibbs wrote:

Americans are already experiencing its [Agenda 21] implementation without even realizing it. The power structure veils the implementation with claims that it is all good for the community. The Bible says that the great counterfeiter reveals himself as an angel of light.[vii]

As Gibbs noted the people behind Agenda 21 are using the education system, mainstream media and Hollywood to slip Agenda 21 into the American consciousness. Remember the February 2013 EPA news release? The purpose of sustainability is to help the community. There is no avenue for dissent because this is for the good of our community.

Proponents of Sustainable Development constantly tell us that their plans are just local. And they deride those who accuse them of imposing an international agenda. Kooks. Fringe Fanatics. Conspiracy Theorists. These are just some of the labels they pin on those fighting to expose Agenda 21. Moreover, they sarcastically ask, “how can an obscure twenty-year-old document be a threat to local policy? Tsk Tsk.[viii]

Perhaps the Agenda 21 proponents should ask the folks who had their homes and livelihoods ripped away from them for the development of the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area whether sustainable development is a threat or not.

The Missouri legislature passed Senate Bill 265 in an effort to block Agenda 21; however, the governor vetoed the bill on July 1, 2013. The governor’s news release, entitled, “Gov. Nixon vetoes harmful bills aimed at nonexistent problems such as ‘Agenda 21′” read:

Senate Bill 265 would have forced local governments to interpret ambiguously worded restrictions to determine if a proposed action could be considered “traceable” to a nonbinding resolution passed by the United Nations more than two decades ago. The resolution, known as Agenda 21, imposes no mandates on local governments, and not a single pejorative action in Missouri has been tied to it.[ix]

Agenda 21 is nonexistent. The United Nations resolution was nonbinding. Agenda 21 imposes no mandates. These statements are repeated over and over to remind you to ignore what your eyes and ears are telling you. Even though Agenda 21 is obviously occurring it couldn’t possibly be happening because the resolution was nonbinding, there are no mandates; and, anyway, Agenda 21 does not exist.

The World Business Council for Sustainable Development announced that the Monsanto Company joined its membership on January 22, 2013.

Monsanto is working to help find ways to produce more food within the limits of the world’s natural systems.” Monsanto was excited to partner “with a global coalition of more than 200 companies that advocate for progress on sustainable development. [x]

That should make us all feel good; 200 companies advocating for progress on sustainable development surely indicates there are plenty of corporations looking out for our best interests, right?

Agenda 21 means increasing urbanization by moving people out of rural areas. Federal and state governments already own almost forty percent of the United States land area, and those are 2004 figures so the amount may have increased in the last decade.[xi]

According to Dave Hodges, “The Forced Depopulation of America’s Rural Areas,” the Agenda 21 plan is to depopulate rural areas by bankrupting farmers. The government is using agencies like the EPA and FDA to gain control over the food supply. China today and America tomorrow, as Hodges reported:

The Chinese government, under the direction of global corporations like Goldman Sachs, is instituting a mass relocation of its population from rural to urban. At the point of a gun, the Chinese military is forcibly removing one million Chinese farmers per month from their rural homes and forcing them into the massive ghost cities from which China has spent nearly $3 trillion to construct. … Unlike the Chinese farmers who are being forced by gunpoint off their land. American farmers are being nudged off their land by market forces created by covert government policy.[xii]

Does it seem odd that the nation’s federal, state, local and tribal transportation agencies implement MAP-21? MAP-21 – Agenda 21 is that just a coincidence? MAP-21 is an acronym for the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act. President Obama signed into law P.L. 112-141, the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21), on July 6, 2012.[xiii]

The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration made an announcement on June 16, 2011, the “second anniversary of the ‘Sustainable Communities’ Partnership.’ … Transportation Secretary LaHood Announces up to $175 Million in ‘Livability’ Grants to Increase and Improve Transportation Options for Urban, Suburban and Rural Communities.”[xiv] There are many press releases that involve the “livability and sustainability goals of the Obama administration.”[xv]

General Electric Company is going to modernize Chicago with four million smart meters.

By 2018, each of the city’s 1.3 million homes or businesses is expected to have a smart meter. … More than $1.3 billion of that investment is earmarked to build a Smart Grid network and install 4 million smart meters in all Northern Illinois homes and businesses. ComEd’s modernization efforts are designed to reduce outages by 700,000 per year, saving customers an estimated $100 million in outage-related costs.[xvi]

Every day there are signs around us that support our kooky fringe fanatic conspiracy theorists’ ideas regarding the reality of Agenda 21. We can give in and succumb to their pressure or we can continue to point out that the emperor has no clothes. As Jerry Fletcher said, “I’m only paranoid because they want me dead.”
