There is no commercially available encryption that the NSA cannot easily break, and most commercially available software already has backdoors built in for that purpose. Do not be lulled into a false sense of security.

NSA has acres and acres of supercomputers.

Encryption may deter local and state authorities, but if they want to read your messages, they will designate them accordingly and have the NSA decrypt them.

If you want to communicate securely, do it face to face and then take precautions.
