The War On Terror Is Over. America Lost.

YouTube -- corbettreport

It has often been observed that the war on terror is unwinnable. After all, how could a war on an abstract noun ever have its "Mission Accomplished" moment? It is, according to this wisdom, meant to drag on forever. Just because a war can't be won, however, doesn't mean it can't be lost. The truth is that the war on terror is over. And America has lost.

This once great country died on Nov. 22, 1963. America did not lose, the American People did.

“If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy. Of all the enemies to public liberty, war is perhaps the most to be dreaded because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few. The loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or imagined, from abroad.”

— James Madison

What we are witnessing are the pre-season games. The war on terror is no where near over. In fact, it has only begun.

Anonymous. I appreciate the JM article you provided, but most people do not realize that Madison was one of The main actors which talked a good freedom game but in reality he was partly responsible in giving us a heavily controlled centralized government. His notes are available and clearly show he disliked democracy but is exactly what he helped bring about. Many of our founding fathers sold us out when the constitution was rewritten. A good read you should dig a bit more into the the founding scoundrels.

JFK said, "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." We haven't even tried to get Congress to pull obama back in line with his illegal EO's. Terrorism is a word used for every crime committed these days, Americans used to be brave, what happened?

Brigantia, I agree with you.

Stop the petitions. They're fucking useless. Get your ass out to the capitals of your state and MOB IT!!!! That is the only kind of thing that they understand.

There are only so many jail cells to go around. What are they going to do? If they do indeed do what the most terrified of us think they want to do then the cat is so out of the bag that the bag itself will creep away out of fear. If everyone caries a camera and tapes the shit out of everyone in a uniform daring them to do anything 'out of line' ... go ahead. Do something they don't want. Shoot them a bird. Call them fascist fuckers. TELL THEM who pays their paycheck. Educate them!!

Get out of the small towns and do your marches where it really matters. Go where the power is.

Only a few small towns in America(and a few metropolitan ones) have the balls to stand up in the face of these assholes. It's too little too late in the game to even talk about doing small things anymore. We need serious movement. Not something that's going to fizzle out.
