Obama Admin Aims Keyboard Commandos at Gun Control

Barack Obama’s “Cyber Warriors” have focused on a target – gun control.

Since they are new at this, apparently they’re not very good at covering their tracks, because Republican Representative Steve Stockman of Texas has identified a flurry of tweets against the 2nd Amendment as fraudulent. The accounts sending the tweets have been traced back to computer-generated spambots. The accounts have not interacted with other accounts and two of them follow only one person, Obama’s former digital strategist, Brad Schenck.

According to Stockman, he received 16 tweets after Obama’s call for people to tweet their congressmen in support of strict gun control law . . . and ten of those were fake.
"Obama’s anti-gun campaign is a fraud," Stockman said. ”Obama’s supporters are panicking and willing to do anything to create the appearance of popular support, even if it means trying to defraud Congress,” he added. “I call upon the president to denounce this phony spam campaign.” (source)
So, all the stuff we keep hearing from the mainstream media about most of the population being pro-gun control? Just another deceitful illusion brought to you by the “fine” folks at the Obama administration.

The person portraying himself as an upstanding citizen concerned about guns is most likely some pimple-faced guy in a hoodie, typing feverishly at his laptop in his mother’s basement.

Two days after his inauguration, the President launched his “Cyber-Warriors for Obama Project”, geared towards manipulating public opinion through social media. Douglas Hagmann interviewed a DHS insider, who brought to light the plan:
…One section with the word “targets” had a list of religious web sites, web sites I recognized as Christian. Another section was a listing of conservative Internet sites. There was another tab with the label “problem sites” that seemed quite extensive. I looked at that section, and it was broken down further into “birther” sites, “pro-gun” sites, “anti-abortion” sites, just to name a few.
There was also a section of the usual news sites, like CNN, ABC, you know. Numerous e-mail addresses were conspicuous under each news organization, which also included Fox….
The first page of the binder had bullet points labeled “objectives” and instructions for the cyber-assets. There was also a very detailed non-disclosure agreement with the word “DRAFT” typed in big, light grey letters across the body of the two-page agreement. The agreement and the instructions were typed on white paper with a warning, printed in red on each page, that the document was not to be copied or disseminated.
The instructions seemed very specific. Infiltrate web forums, collect screen names, avatars, and posters’ tag lines, and attempt to resolve these to their actual identities. I read one paragraph that listed circumstances when the “asset” was only to monitor but do not disrupt without authorization. There was another section titled “Divert, Disrupt and Destroy,” listing “how to’s” in certain cases.
There was also a section on maintaining a social media presence, and another on the most effective use of Twitter.
Lastly, there was a “reference section,” which included statistics, specific language to use to marginalize different posters, and effective methods to discredit people while maintaining a sense of legitimacy.
The chilling thing about all this?

There are 3575 people being employed by the Obama administration to dispense disinformation and sow discord in the Patriot movement. They have been taught how to create “personalities” and infiltrate groups as officers of distraction. If you are active in forums, on social media such as Facebook, or as a commenter on alternative news sites, you’ve most likely seen a recent uptick in trollery.

It’s just another day at the office for a cyber warrior. The Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda has nothing on Obama’s Cyber Warriors.

Back in 2003, the George W Bush administration started was the first to utilize internet trolls to manage public opinion.
It was NOT done to help the Republican party, and this Obama gun tempest is NOT being done to help the Democrat party.

Israel and China have also been using sophisticated schemes to control public opinion online by using organized trolls.

Just google the subject and you will see this has been going on for about 10 years. Hell even Canada has a program running which puts their CBC totally under the control of the trolls. They use ICUC Moderation services to do it.

So what does all that mean? It means trolling is not new, and that the Obama trolls working the manufactured gun debate are probably also working for the NRA shilling for the other side too. Never forget that the NRA is as close to government as the FDA or the EPA....nice and cozy, the old boys network.

Surely the author of this article is well aware that internet trolling is the domain of the spook services like CIA, NSA, MI5, Mossad and the like. So why make a big fuss falsely implying that this tactic is some brand new dirty trick by Obama to git the guns???
Sensationalism, creating division and misleading people with lies of omission.......ugly stuff!

I do believe that Obama (Sotero) and his fellow communists suffer from severe mental retardation. How are keyboard commandos going to stop us US citizens from blowing the heads off of gun grabbers if they attempt to confiscate or enforce their illegitimate laws? We out here in the states live in the real world. We will not hand over our defense weapons, we WILL kill to protect them and once we know that we are under assualt we WILL launch a counter-assault and that will be the end of the federal criminals and communists.

Shootouts will be rare when the confiscation day comes, but you miss the larger point. This is gradualism, take a little freedom now, a little more freedom later. What most know, government elites for sure, is they can't continue to grow the size & scope of control with an armed populace. The risk of an armed backlash is obvious. They also know they can't announce tomorrow that all guns will be confiscated from the little people. So the well tested model is to do this over time, letting them vent at each stage. The next tragedy comes along, & it will, you move to the next stage. Jump forward, once implemented here's how it works: You will be asked to turn in previously registered weapons. If you don't comply police &/or HLS officials come to your home. Show credentials & ask nicely for you to turn over all weapons. If you resist or argue they will come back with a full assault SWAT team, arrest you then rip your home to shreds not so much to find hidden weapons as to send a message to you, your friends & neighbors that you damn well better comply. And, make no mistake, you will! So then if gangbangers with guns break into your unarmed house. Officials will say in the news its too bad, they are sorry, tried to help. The net is you & your family are unfortunate collateral damage. That is why the path we are on is so dangerous. We need to make the phone calls, send emails, letters to our representatives now. Once its done, we little people are toast!

To the anonymous troll, who is indeed probably just such a twerp as is being written about in the article.

Who said anything about "Shooting it out?" It isn;t going to be the OK Corral there bucko, it will be more like guerilla warfare and assymetric tactics. No doubt your boys will have learned a good deal from my Muslim brothers in various places where your much vaunted military is bogged down and losing...as usual. My money is on the freedom fighters and you paid trolls, are going to be dragged through the streets until your bones fall apart.

And I shall be laughing when they take people
like you into FEMA camps. Are you really going to go quietly into the night and fog?

"apparently they're not very good at covering their tracks" <-- I wonder how many are out there that are good at covering their tracks. 2 years ago it was reported that the military was funding the creation of software to automate these types of fake twitter accounts. And a lot can happen in 2 years.
