The President of the Italian Supreme Court, Fernando Imposimato, has reportedly called for a criminal investigation into the tragic attacks on September 11, 2001 and even went as far as to draw connections between historical “false flag” incidents such as those organized by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Italy as part of Operation Gladio (which some claim has reared its ugly head once more).
In a quite vitriolic letter published by the Journal of 9/11 Studies, Imposimato pulls no punches, opening the letter with the searing statement,
The 9/11 attacks were a global state terror operation permitted by the administration of the USA, which had foreknowledge of the operation yet remained intentionally unresponsive in order to make war against Afghanistan and Iraq.“To put it briefly, the 9/11 events were an instance of the strategy of tension enacted by political and economic powers in the USA to seek advantages for the oil and arms industries,” wrote Imposimato.
Imposimato is no stranger to high-profile cases, having served on the Anti-Mafia Commission during three different administrations, investigating the assassination of Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro along with the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II.
In calling the 9/11 attacks an instance of the strategy of tension, or strategia della tensione, Imposimato is linking them to the decades of brutal violence carried out by Western intelligence agencies and their agents throughout the Mediterranean.
This is no minor accusation, evidenced by the quite powerful statements made condemning Gladio contained in the European Parliament resolution on Gladio, which passed on November 22, 1990. Even though the resolution, “Condemns the clandestine creation of manipulative and operational networks and Calls for a full investigation into the nature, structure, aims and all other aspects of these clandestine organizations or any splinter groups,” a full investigation was never truly carried out.
Imposimato brought up several facts which prove highly problematic for the government’s official account of the events of September 11, 2001, including the clearly abnormal collapse of World Trade Center Building 7.
Imposimato also pointed to the fact that there were reports of the CIA meeting with Osama Bin Laden, the man allegedly behind the attacks, in July of 2001. It is also important to point out that Bin Laden was once a CIA asset and worked closely with Zbigniew Brzezinski.
“Insider trading is further strong evidence against the CIA, FBI and US government,” continues Imposimato. “Articles by Professor Paul Zarembka, as well as by Kevin Ryan and others, prove such insider trading took place in the days immediately prior to the attacks. Yet this insider trading has been denied by the FBI and 9/11 commission.”In his four page scathing letter, Imposimato presents several compelling lines of evidence which simply demand explanation, examination and investigation.
To ignore these clear holes in the official story is to force oneself into a blinding state of complete ignorance in which one must simply ignore massive amounts of evidence in favor of pure fantasy.
Imposimato concluded his letter by writing, “The only possibility for achieving justice is to submit the best evidence concerning the involvement of specific individuals in 9/11 to the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court and ask him to investigate according to the articles 12, 13 15 and 17, letters a and b, of the Statute of the ICC,” after which he cites the quite poignant preamble of the Statute.
Unfortunately, it appears to be quite clear that this pattern of terrorist incidents which leave more questions unanswered than they address – some of which have strong indications of government involvement – has not ceased.
Unless Imposimato’s suggestions are taken seriously, the only reasonable thing is to expect more manufactured terrorism and an increasingly brutal police state supported by widespread surveillance and a complete refusal to recognize even our most basic rights.

The US refused to recognize the ICC and will just thumb their nose at any decision. And then what?
This court action will just rehash and conclude what everyone else in the world has already concluded; The US government and Israel were parties to what happened.
What we need are sanctions against the US to force the cockroaches out into the light.
Maybe world wide boycotts of Coca Cola or McDonalds will get some action.
...perhaps if someone in power in the United States had the balls to investigate, impeach, charge and hang some of the Bush family..the Cheney family and his honor...Obama..for treason and war crimes...but everyone is already bought off...or too deep in their own corruption to stand up and fight...what and interesting way to spend the latter part of my life...
although..it has not been unexpected... ...corruption is corruption is corruption...5th century...15th century or tomorrow...corrupt is corrupt...

I think the 9/11 Truth movement should unite and focus on a single message - regardless of what theory you uphold, even by the official story of 9/11 the U.S government is culpable for major failures and a cover-up of those failures.
By their own story the people provably connected to the alleged 19 Saudi hijackers have not faced any punishment, questioning, or even accusation, but instead have been protected and assisted by the U.S government while they covered up many such connections.
Then the U.S government has worked alongside the Saudi government/family and Bin Laden family and others provably connected to 9/11 while launching illegal invasions of nations with no provable connections to 9/11.
The U.S government has to be held accountable for the massive crimes and failures they themselves admit to by way of their official story.
Once the Truth movement unites behind holding the U.S government accountable in a legitimate fashion within the bounds of the legal system and public scrutiny then more than likely a few of the accused are going to want to save their own asses from the Fire.
And that in turn will lead to other conspirators and further exposure of the Real Truth in a legitimate and legal and open fashion that the whole world can build off of to start fixing the problems started or exacerbated by 9/11 and it's perpetrators.
Even if you are not a 'Truther' and you support the official story you must realize the U.S government needs to be held accountable for it's failures that allowed it to happen, for covering it up and hindering proper investigation and for the crimes and illegal wars they have waged since in the false name of the victims of 9/11.
Accountability of the u.s government should be top priority of the entire Truth movement, not squabbling over Theory A vs Theory B and what have you.
If the U.S government is held accountable perhaps the actual Truth could be revealed and all theories can be verified or falsified once and for all.

I agree with you completely, but I’m sorry you omitted Nancy Pelosi. It was her DUTY, according to our constitution, to initiate the impeachment and conviction of Bush and his cabal for their treason and war crimes. For that reason, she should not escape punishment either.
Chances are the US would just ignore any ICC sentence - but it should still be done as it is important for public opinion.
A lot of people in Europe are still asleep and buying the official story (not much of a surprise, given the European media are almost as controlled as those in the US). They'd probably listen to the results of any neutral investigation.
And Obomber/Rumney can't keep waging War on Terra without their allies. They also wouldn't dare totally outrage the Europeans by declaring them terrorists (after all, they're cowards, and e.g. France HAS nukes).
I call for every sworn public official not acting to investigate 9/11 to be arrested for misprision of treason.
To Anonymous @ 1:49 You cannot fight this with an organized movement, because anything organized is easily infiltrated and subverted. Imposimato may very well be part of a controlled resistance movement. The only way to defeat them is individually. Hundreds of millions resisting, each in his own manner. They only have power because we give it to them. A return to local economies, local militias. A worldwide revolution resisting all consolidations of power. But who knows? This is Earth, and will always be full of strife.
Any investigation needs to be carried out outside the US as inside TPTB have total control over the political and judicial processes and also the MSM, which has brainwashed the public into total mushrooms.
The US just ignores all international laws and conventions anyway and wages criminal wars and commits atrocities and acts of terror everywhere with impunity, but at least the truth will be out and six billion people will finally know the true nature of the one and only terrorist nation on the planet.
In the end, there is the law of karma and justice will come to all regardless; it’s just part of the fabric of the universe. Like with all laws of physics there will always be equilibrium in all forces of nature including good and evil! So Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rice, Mossad, watch out.
