A bombshell exploded within the Alternative Media world when it was announced by a few websites that the Department of Homeland Security had just re-ordered another 700 million rounds of ammunition for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA.
I did not believe that for one minute, because I took the time and I counted each and every single type and quantity of ammunition being requested. See the article HERE. And the article I wrote actually hit the wires first. It was basically ignored because of the newer bombshell.

And this video outlines the total ammunition in this order, as well as all past DHS orders since Mr. Obama took office:
The problem was simple, and avoidable. This is the second mistake made by a government employee who has not had their work reviewed.
The first was when it was announced, first on this network, that the National Oceanographic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) had ordered ammunition for the National Weather Service.
It later turns out that the order was for the law enforcement component of NOAA, and not the NWS. As NOAA put it in a follow up request:
This FBO Notice corrects solicitation DG-1330-12-RQ-1028 that was previously posted through FEDBID and incorrectly identified the National Weather Service as the requesting agency.Now with the outrage of a possible order of another 700,000,000 rounds of ammunition, an amendment to the request included this:
A maximum of 70,000 million. And truly, that is 70 million too much considering another story that this network has reported about FLETC demands for ammunition.
A caveat on the FedBiz site states that the agency that posts the notice is solely responsible for the content. Truly, two people need to be retrained on how to create a bid announcement.
But the take home message is this: Do your homework. Just because I say something is white does not mean that I’m mistaken. Many of us are so far on the fringe that making a mistake of this magnitude is character suicide.
Bad actions by bad actors may be in the works. Plan on this happening. And then execute your plan. If nothing happens, then great, you’re ready for the alien invasion so many people speak of.
Whatever happens, just keep prepping like your life depends on it. Because it does.

James, after all the examples, and the picture of the amendment, showing 70 million repeated several times, you then write:

Is that right? Seventy-thousand-million? AKA 70 billion? That's 100 times the 700 million amount that caused the panic in the first place, and several times the population of the earth, in bullets.
Not only that, the mass of such an order, assuming ~300 grains per cartridge (actual mass of a lead .45 ACP pistol bullet), is about 1 billion, 337 million kilos of ammo, or 1.3 million long tons for the metrically challenged among us.
Way more than the mass of the Massachusetts (battleship).
And then you're saying that's 70 million too much? So we subtract 70 million. Are we now talking about an actual quantity of 69,930,000,000 (sixty-nine-billion-nine-hundred-thirty-million)? So confused!
So, aside from the very coherent spreadsheet you made, I'm MORE confused after reading your article than before. How much ammo, total, James was ordered? The spreadsheet says ~70 million.
You seem to have made your argument very well in favour of people having their work proofread!
Was this from a federal employee or a govt contractor? Lots of buzz about ammo at your local SSA office. And SSA came out and said its for the security guards. Don;t they contract out security and wouldn't their own company provide the ammo? This just gets more bizarre. As if little old ladies are going to be storming the SSA office in their power wheelchairs and someone is afraid of Grandma?! I do know that govt protocol for years, as I've been taught yearly: In case of national emergency federal employees are to report to the nearest federal office for instructions and duties as they would be the ones to have official charge.(As soon as they get their own families out of danger) Are post offices being stocked, too?I haven't shot a rifle or BB gun since Dad tried to teach me as a kid. Joe, James made one error that you leapt upon, making you spend unnecessary time with a calculator, working out the weight etc. For one mistake, he wrote "million" rather than "thousand". By mentioning this slip as being true takes peoples interest in this away. The simple fact is that the majority of this ammunition is unnecessary at the present time. If you compare what he wrote to that which is in the table, you will see the mistake. I would still be questioning "why" even if the totals were in the hundreds
All this talk gives me a headache,it's always wise to be prepared.
Several of us witnessed Hillary Clinton commit three felonies in one day back in 1982 during the 1984 election primary season. Janet Napolitano will not tell us who or help arrest the perpetrators of 9-11. Fukushima, The DH oil well blow out(US SENATE SAYS "INTENTIONAL"), the Wall Street looting, HAARP weather attacks and the gaming of the 'weather futures' market and carpetbagging of weather distressed farmland, poisoning of food and vaccines. etc.
These things being said, this 'James Smith' article comes off as little more than your classic 'bait and switch'. James Smith's superior records of these transactions neglect the fact that this and the misinformation are both tainted and subject to change at the hands of the above mentioned psychopaths and their agents, and therefore, not to be believed.
Spin it all you like. The facts are they ARE ordering the ammo with the intent to use it on you and me.
I am sure some will go to the drug cartels along with the guns BATF is sending them already.
