In a telling story highlighting the true face of political corruption, corrupt Indian politicians have successfully stolen more than $14.5 billion worth of food from starving poverty-stricken citizens. Looting over 57,000 tons of food intended for the starving poor, the unpunished corrupt lawmakers and politicians are warehousing the mass amount of food supplies in a government-owned storage facility that spans more than five football fields in length.
The blatant corruption has been confirmed in a recent report by mainstream media outlet Bloomberg, which reports that many of the starving 350 million families whose food has been stripped away by the government are currently ‘surviving’ on less than 50 cents per day. The nefarious government hooligans robbed away the region’s five-decade-old public food distribution system which served as virtually the only way in which the struggling families could survive.
Law still requires that the 57,000 tons of staple foods are to be distributed among the families, yet nothing has been done by fearful politicians and police. Due to rampant corruption and a serious lack of action, countless members of the nation’s government bodies are quiet on this matter and many others.
Some, however, have decided to speak out. Naresh Saxena is one such Supreme Court commissioner who has decided that she will not live in fear of corruption. Speaking out against the recent ransacking, she stated:
This is the most mean-spirited, ruthlessly executed corruption because it hits the poorest and most vulnerable in society… What I find even more shocking is the lack of willingness in trying to stop it.
With the state police force groveling to corrupt lawmakers who care only for financial gain and corporate interest and a painfully-stunted court system that has made zero convictions over seven years of ongoing political turmoil, the starving families are helpless.
Around 900 million Indians currently eat less than the bare recommended minimum as issued by the government, and half of all the nation’s children are completely malnourished. It is easy to see how these statistics will be changing for the worst in the very near future, with a grand total of over $14.5 billion worth of food intended for the public now sitting idle in a government warehouse.
This is the face of political corruption. Allowing ‘officials’ to absolutely pillage citizens with an utter lack of regard for even the welfare of children is the utmost form of slavery. What’s even more interesting is that these starving Indian families have not yet raided the government stockpile warehouse, where the over-abundant amount of food sits to rot as they starve and die in the streets. Truly, such a degree of forcible government control is highly destructive and the very thing that activists continue to resist on a daily basis.

What Indians?
In the entire article, there's no mention whether they're East Indians or Native Americans.
Yeah, the country of India government is corrupt as well.
Pretty sure its east indians...so do the people hoarding this use it for food themselfs....it might just be the elite know shits about to hit the fan and our stockpiling for themselfs

This is the same country that regularly demands that the UK coughs up 'aid' and then promptly spends billions developing illegal nuclear weapons.
India is now so corrupt that Israel sees it as a long term strategic partner and ally.
___They are corrupted by wall street speculating on foodstuff which should be criminal, encouraging them to store food in warehouses waiting for the shares to rise and make a profit.____ Who cares on wall street about people and children dying from starvation in other countries as long as traders and banksters fill their pockets.
Governments that take food for the poor and hoard it so the poor starve should be expunged from the land along with those that enable such scum-like actions. They should all have guns to protect themselves from killer governments and banker-gangsters.
History will repeat itself like in Mao''s China and Mr Stalin Russia where millions starved to death from the 1930's lasting into 1960's due to purges to failed great leep forward. Some of India's politicians , the police, and those who know about withholding 57,000lbs of food are guilty of mass genocide and food should be withhold from them to see if they like to be starved to death.

India progressing faster than ever...?
I am glad this obvious criminal activity has come out. From personal experience, east indians are typically extremely proud with an over-inflated sense of self-worth. The more successful they are, the worse this mentality becomes. If you tried to explain to these politicians the evil of their actions, they would come up with an endless stream of empty excuses and flimsy justifications as to why they deserve a food safety net, and "lower-caste" indians do not.
Sadly, I am not at all surprised. I currently have to live in India and can't wait to finally leave and never come back. On a daily basis, you can see atrocious behaviour all around you. Ranging from indifference towards filth, extremely poor manners to greed of epic proportions. I have lived in many countries before, but India is the worst. It is a very racist society from within that treats the poor and the weak as if they were inhuman. They have managed to make a mockery of the term democracy, as you can buy your way into power in order to further loot the country. Indians should stop complaining about their so called politicians as every nation has the leaders it deserves. I am sure that 90% of the population would act in exact the same way if in a position of power. By the way, there is no difference between the various parts od India, it's the same everywhere! Same on you, India!!! Nothing to be proud of!!!

The answer is in the article. Figures tell all. 350 million families are more than the whole U.S. population, including all the Natives.
