We the People stood up to fight the indefinite detention of American Citizens without charge or trial as authorized in the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act. Since then we have focused all of our efforts on building a network of liberty throughout the nation.
On June 1st, the largest anti NDAA organization, PANDA, mobilized in over 25 states across the nation. This showed that We the People will not stand idly by and watch as our country is torn apart by unconstitutional legislation, tyrannical government, and the swift slide towards an American Police State.
It is now time for our first major action. The Wood County, OH Sheriff, Mark Wasylyshyn, has been presented with a resolution (PDF) on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The resolution, if signed, would prohibit anyone in his office from complying with the federal government and enforcing the NDAA. It would also require the Sheriff to interfere if the Federal government attempted to enforce the NDAA on its own terms.
The Sheriff has referred the resolution, however, to his legal counsel. Mr. Wasylyshyn said “because I am not a lawyer, you’ll have to talk to the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney. I will listen to whatever he says.”
We have now given the resolution to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Secretary, and the Attorney will deliver his verdict on June 22nd, 2012.
It is critical that we act now. Every time this article and information is shared, every email, every letter and every phone call directed at these officials helps stop the NDAA. We are bringing the sword of "We the People" to stand with them if they side with liberty, and the hammer of the electorate to kick them out of office if they fail. We are showing the world that the American People are still the ruling party of their government! We are stopping the NDAA, one county at a time.
It only took 2% of Americans to win the Revolutionary War. It will only take the same to take back our country.

A citizen has a moral and legal obligation to not follow illegal laws, to seek their abrogation and to undermine all attempts of those who commit illegal acts under these illegal laws, especially those acting under color of state or federal law.
The view that most Americans hold regarding NDAA is pretty scary. A lot of them have never even heard of it before. I asked one person what he thought of NDAA and he said "I don't know, I don't keep up with conspiracy theory stuff." A law that allows US citizens to be detained by the military and shipped to Guantanamo Bay, and it's a "conspiracy theory?" Now they want to conduct "military operations in cyberspace" (I can see it now: thousands of independent blogs being shut down by the military for alleged terrorist sympathies) and it also paves the way for war with Iran! I guess the transition to a dictatorship will be quite easy if people have attitudes like that. Well as they sit in the proposed detention camps at least most americans can watch the ball game and chew their way through countless big macs and get fatter as Obama et al destroy the country.
They will have plenty of time on their hands to discuss how taking the piss out of conspiracy theorists were RIGHT. Obama etc are out to destroy the USA from within. With leaders like that who should worry about Russia?

The sooner that we all understand that Presidents are selected not elected the better. What people don't seem to grasp is that they cannot get their head's around the fact that the President is a puppet who serves his/her own master and has no vested interested in the good of the people the better. Population control is of paramount importance to these people. Unemployed people are classed as 'useless eaters' and not tax paying slaves and are therefore expendable. What a sad state of affairs the USA has become. A warmongering government (often against the wishes of the people). Rich man's war, young men's blood is the motto.How many politicians have children in the armed forces in the front line? It's not politician's loved ones who are being slaughtered every day for a cause that benefits no one except the money men.Israel manipulates the USA like a puppet. It matters not who runs the country... what really matters is who controls the money. Control the money and you have total control of 99% of events. ...obviously the Sheriff doesn't know what his job is,if he has to turn to a lawyer to figure out what he is supposed to do when it comes to protecting and serving the folks that elected him...by the way, is the Prosecuting Atty position elected or appointed? .....Hope you folks are paying attention to the Sheriff's answer when it gets to you...that's "if" it gets down to you at all..
Do the American people even realize what the NDAA is? I think not, otherwise it never would have been allowed into law! Good luck to the Sheriff. This lone ranger has his work cut out for him!
