I know many who comment are anti-police. But before anyone else comments and focus's on just the negative- Do not forget most are the first on the scene as first responders and save lives.

There are some stereotypes that fit the mold but most are just supporting their families and want the best for their neighborhood. Many volunteer their time in the communities and helping neighbors and friends.

Police deaths have increased considerably over the last few years and many of them are shootings. Also many departments have cut departments down considerably and the numbers are shrinking as budgets are cut.

Police are being pepper sprayed, shot at, and even the K9's are being choked out. Here is an article not long ago where a group of thugs causing trouble at a nightclub sent 2 officers and K9 to the hospital and animal hospital.

At least in this case none of the injuries were life threatening but they were only responding to call of an unruly patron who did not want to be searched for weapons.

I think it's only right to approach this in balanced manner. It's things like the NDAA and legislation that is getting out of hand. Instead of pitting anger against the police- we should be reaching out to them as our allies to combat the evil system being in place.

It's hard to start a much needed dialogue while waving a middle finger. It kind of polarizes thing and leads to an unhealthy contention instead of anything productive.

While I agree with poster #1 I have to add that the main problem with the police is the "brotherhood" mentality.

There are plenty of good, honest police officers out there but because of the bullshit notion of the "brotherhood" they rarely if ever actually do anything to stop the bad ones from doing the shit that causes the public to lose respect IN ALL OF THEM.

And when a good cop actually does something his or her superiors will back the "brotherhood" and the good cop is the one who gets punished.

As long as 99% of the good police officers are not doing anything to stop the bad ones from abusing their powers then all police officers will suffer the same fate as nobody will respect any of them anymore.

But sadly many good police officers become bad police officers in response to the loss of respect for them that is itself a response to the "good men doing nothing" to stop the bad ones.

It's a vicious cycle that nobody actually wants to understand, and if you don't understand the problem you can never find the solution.

The good cops are just as guilty of allowing the bad ones to destroy the respect the police once had as the bad ones are.

In my experience the worst criminals in our degenerating economy are the cops. These days cops are hired to make a profit for the government, any way they can, and get rid of those that don’t produce for the government. All governments have become the Godzilla of old Japanese movies. Cops don't need to use phony radar guns in Oregon to steal from a motorist. They just completely fabricate a charge then commit perjury in court. Judge Horner, Dallas, Oregon, made sure, asking cop David Peterson twice if there were no witnesses in the vehicle before their complicity in the theft. It doesn't even matter that a charge completely violates the laws of physics. Oregon cops will issue a completely bogus traffic cite, then commit perjury with the most ridiculous impossible lies in court and the judges convict anyway, as if it were a conspiracy. Their combined arrogance is complete. I know. It happened to me in Oregon. IN OREGON, DON’T DRIVE IN YOUR VEHICLE ALONE. If you want to know why, read the posts on: facebook.com/garydonoliver. That is the reason cops don’t want to be filmed. It cuts into their take from theft, and exposes their level of insanity.

I will never forget the day my father was forced to pull off the road by a group of criminals. He didn't panic. As on of the hoodlum raced back to rob us my father calmly rolled down his window, reached under the seat and pulled out his hand gun. Then as the hoodlum approached he displayed his gun on his lap and asked him if he wanted it the head or in the heart.
There is nothing that will deter criminals, whoever they may be, like an armed citizenry.

Nope. All cops are some of the most intellectual devoid people I have met, and this is coming from someone with a squeaky record, and even was training to be a cop. I had to leave because of how dumbed-down everyone was. I know a lot of cops personally, and I find everyone of them mindless and violent; having little constitutional education; control and anger problems. I wouldn't trust one a rubber band, let alone an army of them with an arsenal of weapons.

Please remember people, part of the problem is that many of these cops are psychopaths who were trained by the military first. The ones that got out alive of Iran and/or Afghanistan are coming back here now and treat the American populace in the same manner in which they treated the civilian population of those countries: at gunpoint. This is what Karma looks like. The US didn't even need a foreign invader to exert justice, it has done it all to itself. Enjoy it suckers! You have created your own monster and have nobody but yourselves to blame for it.

If y'all think that was bad, check this one out. Irrefutable proof that we're dealing with rogue psychopaths:

"Police handcuff Ga. kindergartner for tantrum"

http://news.yahoo.com/police-handcuff-ga-kindergartner-tantrum-112459850.html

Police in Georgia handcuffed a kindergartner after the girl threw a tantrum and the police chief defended the action.

The girl's family demanded Tuesday that this central Georgia city change policy so that other children aren't treated the same way. They say the child was shaken up by being put in a cell at the police station.

[…]

The school called police. The police report says when an officer tried to calm the child in the principal's office, she resisted and was handcuffed. The girl was charged with simple assault and damage to property.

[…]

Maybe Poster #1 can explain this one to the rest of us that these these criminal thugs for what they are.

The fellow in the video should consider himself lucky that all they did was beat the crap out of him. Look at what they did to this kid whose crime was "driving erratic" and that's according to the cops that murdered him. Now you all know what - or rather who - those millions of bullets that they have ordered are for.

"US police fire over 90 bullets, kill teenager"

US police have fired more than 90 rounds of bullets at a teenager in Los Angeles after a brief high-speed chase when he failed to stop for the police.
