Late on the night of August 23, 2001, at about 3 a.m. security cameras in the parking garage of the World Trade Center captured the arrival of two or three truck vans.
Visual examination determined the vans were separate and unique from trucks used by janitorial services, including different colors and devoid of markings. More curious, all the janitorial trucks had pulled out of the Towers by about 2:30 a.m—about half an hour before the second set of vans arrived.
According to my high-level State Department source with a top security clearance, who disclosed the unusual nightly activity, no vans matching that description had entered the World Trade Center at such an hour in any of the weeks or months prior to that date. It was a unique event.

Alan Watt Poem of the Day: Ageing Politicians, the Dear Old Sweeties, Sold Everyone Out with Debt and Treaties
Alan Watt
Cutting Through The Matrix
Governments Argue About Trillions, Public Turn Pale,
And via WTO, Countries are Up for Sale,
It Starts with a Chunk Here and There,
Then Firesale Continues "Till the Cupboard is Bare",
Quigley's New Feudal Overlords are in Position,
Peasants are Uneasy of This World in Transition,
Most Proles Sense it Coming, Some Choose Denial,
Wishing for Miracles from Bankers of Belial,
Most Really Hope They won't Get Much Strife,
Live to the End without Altering Their Life,
Selfishness Leaves it to the Next Generation,
"I'm Alright Jack, Let Them Get Vexation,"
Apathy and Propaganda Target the Hopeless

Alan Watt is a researcher into the forces behind major changes in historical development. His background is that of a renaissance man in three professions, plus having various books published in religions, philosophy, poetry, mainly under pseudonyms. For much of his life he was heavily involved in the music industry; he has played with some of the most well-known artists and groups. Born in Scotland, he watched the subtleties of politics and media as they guided the population of the U.K. covertly into a European amalgamation. He has been warning the North American people for some years now that the same process of amalgamation is being carried out. With historical documentation, he shows how cultures are created and altered by those in control, always to lead the people like sheep into the next pasture. Learn the true esoteric meanings of mystery religions from one who knows. Learn the science of Religion Creation-Domination. The latest book trilogy (Cutting Through Volumes 1,2,3) attempts to deprogram the reader from his/her indoctrination. These books help stimulate the individual's mind into a higher, truer perception. 12 Hour MP3's in history/religions from ancient times to present augment the books.

Tepco Says Highest Radiation Yet Is Detected at Fukushima Dai-Ichi
![]() |
| Tepco Fukushima Meltdown AFP Image |
Bloomberg
Tokyo Electric Power Co., operator of Japan’s crippled Fukushima Dai-Ichi nuclear plant, said it detected the highest radiation to date at the site.
Geiger counters, used to detect radioactivity, registered more than 10 sieverts an hour, the highest reading the devices are able to record, Junichi Matsumoto, a general manager at the utility, said today. The measurements were taken at the base of the main ventilation stack for reactors No. 1 and No. 2.
The Fukushima plant, about 220 kilometers (137 miles) north of Tokyo, had three reactor meltdowns after the March 11 magnitude-9 earthquake and tsunami knocked out power and backup generators. Radiation leaks displaced 160,000 people and contaminated marine life and agricultural products.

Little economic impact from US debt deal: analysts
![]() |

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Spending cuts in the new deal to slash the US deficit and raise the borrowing ceiling will not have much immediate effect on the economy -- or the deficit itself, analysts said Monday.
Heralded as a political success that averts the United States being forced to default on its debt, the deal is supposed to cut the country's gaping deficit by $900 billion over 10 years -- or $2.4 trillion, if a second-stage effort works out.
But for fiscal 2012, beginning in October, only $21 billion will be cut from expected spending of up to $3.7 trillion, and only $41 billion the following year.

US, Vietnam start first military relationship

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The United States and Vietnam on Monday opened their first formal military relationship since their war, another sign of growing cooperation amid high tensions between Hanoi and China.
The US and Vietnamese militaries signed an agreement in Hanoi setting up cooperation in health, setting the stage for exchanges and research collaboration in military medicine, a US Navy statement said.
The former war foes have been steadily building ties and last month held a joint naval drill. But Monday's agreement marks the first formal military cooperation since the normalization of diplomatic relations in 1995, the navy said.

More than half of Americans drink alcohol: report
![]() |

WASHINGTON (AFP) - More than half of Americans aged 12 and up drink alcohol, a quarter binge-drank in the past month, and one in 14 teens has used marijuana, a US government agency says in a report on substance abuse.
Around 52 percent of 137,436 Americans interviewed in 2008 and 2009 said they had a tipple in the past month, the report released late last month by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) says.
Drinking was most prevalent among 18-25 year olds, with the northeastern state of New Hampshire leading the charge: three-quarters of young adults in the state said they'd used alcohol in the past month, the report says.

Anders Behring Breivik, the terrorist responsible for last week’s Oslo attacks purchased what’s known as ‘CIA Caltrop’ tire spikes from a Mexican security firm.
In his manifesto, Breivik provides the name and address of the firm, which is Prosperity Technologies, located in the Guadalajara suburb of Zapopan, Mexico.
The tire spikes, known as caltrops, were originally designed by the CIA to puncture vehicle tires. These spikes are very popular with private security companies and drug cartels in Mexico. The cartels use them against police and military when their vehicles are being chased.

Monsanto-spawned superweeds growing three inches daily, destroying farm equipment

Natural News
The proliferation of superweeds -- weeds that have mutated to develop resistance to popular herbicides like Monsanto's Roundup formula -- continues to rise. But the individual plants' overall size and strength is also increasing. According to a series of new studies published in the journal Weed Science, farmers are having more trouble than ever dealing with out-of-control superweeds in their fields, some of which grow up to three inches a day in size, and are so strong and thick that they are destroying farm equipment.
The studies reveal that there are currently at least 21 different weed species known to be resistant to Roundup, also known generically as glyphosate. These species include ragweed, pigweed, horseweed, waterhemp, and ryegrass. Since 2007, the total acreage of farmland known to be infested with superweeds has also jumped more than 450 percent, from 2.4 million acres to 11 million acres, which means that the problem is only going to get exponentially worse.

Western-funded groups continue to destabilize Syria

Activist Post
Today there are, yet again, unverified reports from so-called activist groups clashing with Syrian security forces and anti-government protestors. According to activists and human rights groups, the number is either “at least 100 civilians” or “at least 80 people” depending on which source you refer to.
Haaretz is reporting the 100 figure in their article about Obama’s condemnation of the Syrian government’s handling of the uprising.
In a White House statement, Obama said that “the reports out of Hama are horrifying and demonstrate the true character of the Syrian regime.”
The Jerusalem Post is reporting that at least 80 people are dead, also noting that a spokesperson for the German mission at the United Nations has requested a UN Security Council meeting on Monday.

Is HAARP Weather Modification Causing the Texas Drought?
Zen Gardner
Before It's News
Texas is suffering seriously as you can see from this drought map. What's striking is how the hardest hit areas almost follow the border of Texas exactly. That, and into the Louisiana gulf area, which has been targeted before with both Katrina and the BP Oil Disaster.
If you follow dutchsince's posts on youtube you'll know the weather is being manipulated on a daily basis. Not only that, but the real weather situations are under-reported on a regular basis, such as the true size and scope of tectonic activity, including the recent venting activity at extinct volcano sites in the California/Nevada area.

Tell Gov to ban Nanoparticles in food and pesticides
Food Freedom
Nanoparticles cross the blood-brain barrier, posing a significant threat to human DNA and that of other life forms. Currently, the US Food and Drug Administration and the US Environmental Protection Agency allow nanoparticles in pesticides and in the food supply, with no regulation whatsoever.
Tell the federal government to ban these particles under the precautionary principle until they are proven safe: http://www.regulations.gov/#!submitComment;D=EPA-HQ-OPP-2010-0197-0031
NanoAction advises, “Nanotechnology is a powerful new platform technology for taking apart and reconstructing nature at the atomic and molecular level. Just as the size and chemical characteristics of manufactured nanoparticles can give them unique properties, those same new properties–tiny size, vastly increased surface area to volume ratio, high reactivity–can also create unique and unpredictable human health and environmental risks.”

Agenda 21 Coming To A Farm Near You As Federal Government Moves To Ban Family Farms
Alex Thomas
The Intel Hub
The U.S. Department of Transportation, in an Agenda 21-style order, has moved to essentially ban a large part of family farms.
For hundreds of years family farms have been passed from generation to generation and it has been a way of life for younger family members to learn and work on their farms.
New rules being prepared in Washington could change that forever.

Apple’s Chinese manufacturer to rely on a million robots to build iPhones
![]() |
HONG KONG/TAIPEI (Reuters) - Taiwan's Foxconn Technology Group, known for assembling Apple's iPhones and iPads in China, plans to use more robots, with one report saying the company will use one million of them in the next three years, to cope with rising labor costs.
Foxconn's move highlights an increasing trend toward automation among Chinese companies as labor issues such as high-profile strikes and workers' suicides plague firms in sectors from autos to technology.
Contract manufacturers such as Foxconn, which also counts Dell, Hewlett-Packard and Nokia among its clients, are moving parts of their manufacturing to inland Chinese cities or other emerging markets.
They are also boosting research and development investments to lift their thin margins.
"Workers' wages are increasing so quickly that some companies can't take it longer," said Dan Bin, a fund manager at Shenzhen-based Eastern Bay Investment Management, which invests in technology and consumer-related shares in China and Hong Kong.

Raising the Debt Ceiling Avoids the Spending Addiction
SARTRE, Contributing Writer
Activist Post
The latest example of political hyperbole is that the U.S. Treasury is ready to default on its debt. An actual examination of the underlying facts is that the relative purchasing value of the currency has long ago swindled debt holders in U.S. Bonds of their promised returns. A default defined under this definition is part of the equation. Repudiation of the entire debt obligation is the real fear. Contrary to all the public scare tactics that the financial world will stop turning, the Federal Treasury has ample revenue to pay the interests on bonds and notes that come due. The essential issue is whether the new bond lenders are willing to roll over the debt that is coming due and keep the shell game going.
The late conservative journalist Robert Novak’s favorite president was Calvin Coolidge; he is known for saying, The Business of America is Business
The real statement comes from a speech by Calvin Coolidge called “The Press Under a Free Government” which was given before the American Society of Newspaper Editors in Washington, D.C. on January 17, 1925. The quote is really: “After all, the chief business of the American people is business.” However, Coolidge goes on to say that, “Of course the accumulation of wealth cannot be justified as the chief end of existence.” He discusses journalism and the thought that the business interests of newspaper owners should not taint reporting. He continues, “American newspapers have seemed to me to be particularly representative of this practical idealism of our people.”
A seminal truth about governments is that they do not function as a business.

Pakistan restricts US diplomats' travel

ISLAMABAD (AFP) - Pakistan has imposed new travel restrictions on US diplomats living in the country, a source told AFP Sunday, in the latest sign of ties worsening since the killing of Osama bin Laden.
A letter sent to the US embassy in Islamabad increased limitations on when and how diplomats can move outside the capital, the diplomatic source said, without giving further details.
Pakistan is seen as a key ally for the United States in its fight against Islamist militancy, but relations have soured since US troops killed Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden in Pakistan in May without warning Islamabad of the raid.

White House Stonewalls Senators on Use of "Secret Law" to Spy on Americans

AntiFascist Calling
During last spring's run-up to the reauthorization of three expiring provisions of the USA Patriot Act, Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) charged that the administration and the FBI was relying on a "secret" interpretation of law to vacuum-up exabytes of data, including cell phone location records and internet data mining that target Americans.
In March, a written statement to the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security by Justice Department official Todd Hinnen confirmed that the administration had used Section 215, the so-called "business records" section of the Act "to obtain driver's license records, hotel records, car rental records, apartment leasing records, credit card records, and the like."

UK Police Tells Public To Report Anti-Government Beliefs As Terrorism
Briefing conflates dissent against the state with Al-Qaeda
Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
The London Metropolitan Police is encouraging businesses and the general public to immediately report anyone who holds anti-government political beliefs to the authorities as terrorists, calling on people to become volunteer informants as the state prepares for widespread social unrest.
“This was the surprising injunction from the Metropolitan Police issued to businesses and members of the public in Westminster last week,” reports the London Guardian. “There was no warning about other political groups, but next to an image of the anarchist emblem, the City of Westminster police’s “counter terrorist focus desk” called for anti-anarchist whistleblowers stating: “Anarchism is a political philosophy which considers the state undesirable, unnecessary, and harmful, and instead promotes a stateless society, or anarchy. Any information relating to anarchists should be reported to your local police.”

Syria attack is 'desperation': US embassy official

| More than 90 people were killed in Hama © AFP/YouTube |
LONDON (AFP) - An official at the US embassy in Damascus said the Syrian military's deadly attack on the flashpoint protest city of Hama on Sunday amounted to "full-on warfare" and was a "last act of utter desperation".
JJ Harder, the press attache at the embassy, told the BBC World Service that "there is one big armed gang in Syria, and it's named the Syrian government".
More than 90 people were killed on Sunday as the Syrian military launched an attack on Hama on the eve of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, a human rights activist said.
