Last week, David House, a developer working on human rights issues with the Bradley Manning Support Network joined the ranks of Targeted Individual human rights workers. Not being “with” the Bush-Obama team, he is considered a threat, subsequently experiencing what such targets do on a regular basis. Returning home from a Mexican vacation, House was detained and the FBI seized his computer and other personal belongings, including his research papers.
As with every Targeted Individual that has contacted the writer, House committed no crime, nor was he ever alleged to have committed a crime.
An estimated 350,000 of such targets exist in America alone. These innocent people are part of the reason for the government’s 80 billion dollar spy budget. (See: $80B thug budget to oppress Targeted Individuals (video))
In most cases, the target experiences thievery and vandalism in their home. Usually there has been no forced entry. Locked doors are of no obstacle to FBI and contractor neighborhood thugs. They have access to gadgets that can enable access through any locked door – and since the target is under 24-7 surveillance, the job can be done easily knowing when the target is away from home – or asleep.
