We were contacted today by a man named Rod Adams whose personal story could be nearly anyone's. Rod is part of America's disappearing middle class. His message about human dignity and fearlessness is important, as well as his "wake up" call. Instead of cracking down on homelessness, as if it is something that is strictly cause and effect -- say, like criminal activity -- we should be looking for solutions to this growing problem by designing ways that we can more sustainably use the resources we do have to work together in the service of maintaining our freedom and dignity even in times of crisis.
